
DAUGHTER CALLS FOR INQUEST INTO DEATH
The daughter of a County Durham man - whose death was investigated as part of a murder inquiry - has launched a high court appeal.
In 2005 retired GP - Howard Martin - was aquitted of murdering three patients with morphine overdoses.
Now the daughter of one of the men - Frank Moss - is challenging a decision by the Durham Coroner not to resume an inquest into his death.
Mr Moss - who lived in Eldon near Bishop Auckland - had been under the care of Dr Martin when his practiced with the Jubilee Medical Group - which has surgeries in Newton Aycliffe, Shildon and Eldon.
Alison Moss from Oak Green Flats in Brandon must now wait for a decision from the High Court - the case has been adjourned and no new date has been fixed.
