A County Durham man is now looking forward to enjoying his retirement in the lap of luxury - after banking half-a-million pounds in the Lottery.
Mick Wigham - from Thornley - spent 12 years as chairman of the local breanch of Age Concern, before retiring form the voluntary position last year.
Mick wants to purchase their council house and treat Liz to a holiday in Devon.
The couple also want to give some money to their two children - as well as their four grandchildren.
